Eligibility CriteriaEligibility Criteria: Rural traditional artisans, hand-spinners, weavers, and self-help groups. For institutional funding, the applicant must be a Khadi Institution validly registered with KVIC/KVIB, possessing a clean tracking history, and certified to work with a minimum operational concentration of local rural artisans.

Complete biometric database registry of the associated artisans and weavers (linked with Aadhaar for Direct Benefit Transfer validation).

Audited balance sheets and institutional income-expenditure reports for the past 3 financial cycles.
ExclusionsIndividual standalone private commercial traders operating outside the centralized KVIC certification structure; urban large-scale automated textile manufacturing factories; or institutions whose Khadi registration has been blacklisted or suspended due to wage payment irregularities.

Application ProcessStep 1: Visit the official KVIC e-portal interface and locate the dedicated tracking module for "Khadi Institutions / KGVY Dashboard".

Step 2: Authenticate or create new user credentials by entering your verified institutional registration number and active Udyam ID.

Step 3: Select the target sub-component of the umbrella framework you wish to apply for (e.g., claiming MMDA incentives or applying for modern RYK Charkha allocations).

Step 4: Complete the specialized online proforma, upload your digital documents—including the verified artisan Aadhaar listing and past audited reports—and click submit.

Step 5: Field verification and budget assessment are conducted by KVIC’s regional directorate offices. Once structurally cleared, sanctioned grant funds and material tool kits are channeled directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT/PFMS) protocols.
