A delegation from the Global Association of MSMEs (GAMSME), led by Shri Abhijit Sharma, Founder & Chairman, GAMSME, recently paid a courtesy call on Shri Gulshan Bamra (IAS), Principal Secretary, Tribal Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The delegation was accompanied by Shri Shyamendra Singh, Chairman, National Council on Eco-Tourism & Hospitality, GAMSME, whose experience and guidance added valuable perspective to the discussion.
The interaction highlighted the significant enterprise potential within Madhya Pradesh’s tribal regions, particularly in forest produce, traditional crafts and community-based livelihoods. With stronger access to markets, entrepreneurship support and MSME opportunities, these local strengths can evolve into sustainable enterprises and stronger livelihoods.
GAMSME reiterated its belief that no region or community should be left outside the enterprise ecosystem. The strength of the MSME movement lies in how far it reaches and in its ability to create meaningful opportunities for diverse communities.
GAMSME expressed its gratitude to Shri Gulshan Bamra for the warm reception and encouragement, and looks forward to further engagement towards building inclusive and sustainable enterprise opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
